Please wait in the ticket office at Moreton-in-Marsh railway station. It is advisable to arrive early to show your booking reference number (this will be emailed to you at the time of booking) prior to the tour departing at:-

10.30-12.30 – Please arrive at 10.20, the minibus leaves promptly at 10.30
The minibus returns at 12.25           

12.30-14.30 – Please arrive at 12.20, the minibus leaves promptly at 12.30

14.30-16.30 – Please arrive at 14.20, the minibus leaves promptly at 14.30

• Please wait inside the waiting room of Moreton in Marsh Railway Station
• If the ticket office is closed, please wait by the front door
• We will display a ‘Secret Cottage’ sign just before the tour starts
• Have your booking reference ready
• Your booking reference can be displayed on your phone or printed on paper

• If you are late and miss the start of the tour, we are unable to issue a refund, or provide a replacement
• We do not do pick ups or drop offs from anywhere else

You must leave plenty of time, if there is traffic congestion, we will not wait for you, even if you email or telephone us.

The postcode for Moreton-in-Marsh railway station is GL56 0AA. Please allow plenty of time for traffic, parking your car and buying a ‘pay and display’ ticket from the machine. There is a car park at the railway station and another as you approach the railway station. Tuesday is market day and therefore, it will take you longer to find a parking space.

There are four tours per day and everything is timed to perfection. If you arrive at your scheduled time, we cannot wait whilst you park your car. If we did, it would jeopardise the timings of the other tours later in the day, which is unfair on the other passengers.

Most people taking the tour arrive on a direct train from London. If the train is late, we will not wait for you (it is advisable to catch an earlier train and explore the town of Moreton in Marsh prior to your tour). If you miss the train or take the wrong train, we will not wait for you. We do not have additional guides or vehicles. Please do not telephone or email us to ask if we will wait. We will not do this because it is unfair on the other passengers who have arrived on time. If we had a spare guide and vehicle on standby, this would make the tour much more expensive.

Becky personally guarantees that your money will be refunded should you wish to cancel your tour, subject to the Terms, Conditions and Privacy Policy set out below. I am now trading as a partnership (Secret Cottage Cotswold Tours) with my husband Robin and therefore, under British law we are liable for our debts. Accordingly, we will put any monies received into a separate bank account in case there is another pandemic

Before the pandemic my husband and I worked for Secret Cottage Limited as employees, the company went bust because it could not pay its mounting debts and was declared insolvent in March 2022. Our employment was terminated and as a result, we lost a lot of money along with some of our customers

• We reserve the right to cancel the tour at any time with a full refund. In the unlikely event of us being unable to run the tour due to adverse weather conditions, you will be fully refunded.
• Regrettably, we do not accept children under the age of five.
• Please do not bring your suitcases or hand luggage as we do not have room on the minibus. Please see following link for luggage storage. [luggage information]
• If you are late and the minibus has left without you a refund will not be given.
• If you miss the tour, you will not be entitled to a future credit or be able to go on the next scheduled tour, even if there is an empty seat.
• Cancellation, 30 days prior to the tour date, full ticket refund – minus bank charges. If you notify us less than 30 days before the tour date, we will make your seat(s) available on our website and will only issue a refund if your seat(s) are re-sold. Even if you have booked less than 30 days before the tour date, these conditions still apply. Once you have booked your tour, you cannot change the time or date within 30 days of the tour, or request a replacement/free tour on another day.
• No refund will be issued for missing the booked date of the tour.
• No refund will be issued for missing the booked timed start of the tour.
• No refund will be issued for accidently booking the wrong date for the tour, unless you notify us 30 days before the tour date.
• You cannot change the booking date within 30 days of the start of the tour.

• Smoking inside the minibus and cottage is not permitted.
• Taking photographs of pictures and paintings etc inside the cottage is not permitted.
• Please remember that Secret Cottage is over 500 years old, you’ll need to be careful when using the elm staircases and when ducking under beams and doorways. The owners and their insurers are not liable for any accidents or injuries whilst you’re in the cottage or the garden.
• Privacy Policy. One of the biggest changes to UK data privacy law has come into effect. The General Data Protection Regulation, also known as GDPR, means that you will have more control over how your data is used. By making a booking you are agreeing to us storing your personal details. Under no circumstances, will we use your email address(s) or personal information for anything other than contacting you about our tour.
